Manage benefits accounts online

Residents can now use a new and improved council tax service to manage their housing benefit and council tax reduction accounts through My Hastings.

Log in to your My Hastings account (or set one up), and register through the 'My Accounts - New' tab and you will be able to:

• make a new claim for housing benefit or council tax reduction;
• report a change of address or circumstances;
• upload any documents that are needed as evidence;
• view payment details, including the amount and date of the next payment;
• view the information used to calculate claims, like the income, capital and household details;
• view award letters and other relevant information about claims.

If you choose to register for online entitlement letters, you will no longer receive hard copy letters in the post.

You will need to have a valid email address registered with your benefits account to register for My Account Benefits account.
